light purple hand knit toe socks (merino wool)
toe socks! ive had this idea for a long time about wearing really silly high heels/pleasers with toe socks..sort of "campy" If You Will I Guess.. and i just kinda wanted to knit socks generally. so yeah... this yarn is from h*bby l*bby but is such a pretty color Unfortunately. theyre also unblocked on the hangers when i took pictures because im Impatient. but i have since blocked them and they Do look better

first attempt at wax resist !
just a little mug that i decided to try wax resist surface decoration on... i have a few other ideas to do in the future but just wanted to see how it worked ! christian.applegate on instagram does Wax Resist butterflies way better... but i do like the little tiny mug... the glaze itself was kind of messed up but not completely.... so this ultimately earned a spot on my Makes My Heart Want to Explode Shelf

bottle.... the bottle/vase Saga
i Served the shape hard.. first thing i threw with white clay? and i was like Woah i Feel Like God.. this is the best thing ive ever done.. so then I hmmed and huhhed for like two weeks worrying about if i was going to fuck it up with glaze, scraping off one attempt at glazing because i was like No This Will Ruin it.. so then I decided to do the same glaze combo as the teacup with wings -- which is supposed to be super runny (the cup with wings fused to the shelf), and it didn't run at all -- leaving a big ass stupid white space at the bottom !!! thats ok though... its still nice, ive got to just Keep Trying that shape

another cup with wings..... miss beautiful girl
recently all ive been doing is Fucking things Up!!!! mostly with glazing,, but i also have been experimenting with white clay and learning some lessons.... particularly about how hard it is for me to catch it at the right time for trimming! i tore up like 6 pieces last week in various ways bc they were too wet or too dry.......... i have one piece that im really excited about that's waiting to be glaze fired now (knock on wood), but otherwise this has been my first somewhat-success with the white clay. i say somewhat success because the damn (beautiful Breathtaking) glaze fused to the fuckin shelf!!! but luckily it didnt break the piece and its not too bad.. maybe ill use the scary sander in the studio to fix it but idk.. i might just be fine with the bottom being ugly.. also this was supposed to be a teacup but maybe i need to look at the shape of teacups again.... cup with wings
my best piece by far..... kind of the only thing i made where i was happy with the glaze. ill probably keep doing the wings to perfect them, ive had the idea of little cups with wings for a while.. but this was also my first "cylinder" that i threw on the pottery wheel. yay (the little jar was so ugly when it came out of the kiln.. because of the glaze...)

my first colorwork knit project :) little project bag
this was like, my first venture into colorwork knitting. this pattern was from a library book and i just used whatever fingering weight yarn i had lying around in whatever colors.. but this kind of makes my heart want to Explode from how much i love it and how the colors all fit together. when i added the grey and white stripes to the bottom that was particularly when i was like okkkk this is awesome. although my favorite stripe is the white one with the variegated yarn pattern that kind of looks like a tulip or an Angelfish. I added a zipper and lined it so that i could maybe use it to hold Items and not just for show. i have some of my pottery tools in there for now but they dont really fit so i should probably think of something else to hold in there. anyways i just wanted to try out stranded colorwork before jumping into a larger project and this was fun :)

my first piece of pottery ! (in recent years)
my dad and grandma made pottery all throughout when i was little, so i get the general idea, but this semester ive been taking a pottery class at my school :) this is my first piece! my silly little bowl... it was supposed to be blue but i think the glaze was too thin.... i guess i have a lot to learn.... i took pictures of the whole process though. everyone is so afraid to put Two Handles on things

knit colorwork horse headband.. from unraveled glove
a long time ago my mom got me these nice and very soft cashmere? black gloves but i lost one of them... i finally got around to unraveling it and turning it into something i could wear! had to be something small becuase it wasnt much yarn but I was able to do this and line the other side and still have some left over so Shit..... that glove had a lot of yarn i Guess. i also freehanded this pattern, and the horses are from a book of fair isle knitting patterns that i got at the library :P paying for patterns is such a scam.... i just got the pattern book "knitting with icelandic wool" in from an interlibrary loan. I feel like God

big brocken spectre quilt pillow !
quilt made from scrap fabric, old curtains, old sheets, etc. this was the first and only quilt ive ever made, and im so proud of it! i dyed all the fabric myself also. the dyeing and piecing together happened in early 2023, but i picked it up again this year for a couple of reasons: 1. i now know that a finished quilt requires multiple layers to be stitched together in some kind of decorative pattern, its not just the piecing of fabric together, and 2. i got a daybed for my sunroom and need huge pillows for it. the unfinished quilt had just been sitting in a drawer so im glad i could find a way to " give it new life ".its inspired by brocken spectres so i hand stitched a little Glowing Guy as the pattern
